Northern Arena
Conversion work at Northern Arena, Silverdale's multi-pool swim school and fitness centre, with OCL involved in upgrading the existing facility.
Northern Arena is an established aquatic and fitness centre in Silverdale. The facility combines four swimming pools across separate pool halls with a gym, group-fitness areas, a cafe, physiotherapy spaces and supporting amenities.
Its aquatic facilities include a 25-metre training pool, a 25-metre teaching pool, a learn-to-swim pool and a mothers-and-babies pool. The building also incorporates specialised water-treatment, heating, ventilation and acoustic systems required for a large indoor pool environment.
ORIENT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED (OCL) participated in conversion and upgrade work to the existing Northern Arena facility, contributing construction expertise to improve an operational community-focused building rather than replacing it with a new development.
